How to choose a camouflage pattern for the forest

Choosing the right camouflage pattern is important for effective concealment in airsoft or other outdoor activities. In the woods, it is important to choose a pattern that will best camouflage you in a natural environment.

The main factors in choosing a camouflage pattern

Type of environment:

Dense forest: green, brown and black shades that mimic shadows and vegetation.

Thin Forest: Lighter shades and more browns that are better suited to drier environments and open spaces.

Season:

Spring and Summer: Lush green shades and dark patterns.

Autumn: Browns, oranges and yellow tones.

Movement and static camouflage:

For active movement, a more subtle pattern that breaks up the silhouette is better.

Larger patterns with deep shadows are better for static camouflage in concealment.
