Blowback is a system that faithfully mimics the movement of the breech when the gun is fired and allows the user to feel the recoil. This system is mostly used in airsoft guns (GBB) that are powered by compressed gas. 

The BlowBack system has also come to be used in electric weapons (EBB). However, this feature is redeemed by the higher load on the internal parts and higher consumption from the battery. The best incorporation of this system in electric weapons has been made by Tokyo Marui in its NEXT-GEN and LCT series

Exceptionally, blowback is also used in electric pistols, but these are usually very low-powered pistols.
