Bullpup

The term "bullpup" refers to the construction of a firearm where the action is located behind the trigger and magazine, hence behind the stock. This allows shortening the length of the weapon without compromising barrel length, increasing maneuverability and reducing the overall length of the firearm. This can be advantageous especially for combat situations requiring a compact and maneuverable weapon. The bullpup design is used in various types of firearms, including assault rifles, shotguns, and sniper rifles (for example, the popular SRS platform in airsoft).
