IPSC (International Practical Shooting Confederation) is an international sports organization focusing on dynamic shooting. It is a discipline where shooters compete in various shooting scenarios that simulate practical situations. The goal is not only to achieve the best shooting performance but also to do it as quickly as possible.
Within IPSC, shooters are challenged to move through shooting courses, complete various tasks, and respond to various situations. Evaluation is based on a combination of shooting accuracy and the time needed to complete the course. Shooters often use different types of weapons and techniques to achieve the best results.
Competitions take place in categories with modified and factory weapons with live ammunition, as well as with airsoft weapons. Popular models for IPSC disciplines include pistols from the Hi-Capa and CZ75 series.
