NGRS

Next-Gen Recoil Shock System (NGRS) by Tokyo Marui is an innovative recoil system designed for airsoft weapons. This mechanism provides a more realistic experience during shooting by simulating the recoil you would experience with a real firearm. Unlike unreliable solutions from competitors (APS, ICS, etc.) that rely on the movement of the ejection port, NGRS uses the weight in the buffer tube of the stock, compressed by a spring and piston (acting as a second spring guide), giving the weapon genuine recoil at the level (and sound) of long-barreled GBB weapons while preserving the advantages of AEG propulsion (performance stability regardless of weather, higher magazine capacity, consistent rate of fire regardless of its length, etc.). Marui offers NGRS models such as M249, AK, SCAR-L, and SCAR-H, as well as flagship models like AR15 and HK416/417, which have the most refined recoil and availability of spare parts. The build quality matches real firearms, adhering to the high standards we expect from Tokyo Marui. (NGRS weapons are full metal, which wasn't always common for Marui).

The downside is the atypical shape of the gearbox and internal parts, where the spring protrudes into the stock tube. However, all parts (for NGRS M4/16 and HK416/417) are available in reinforced versions (Retro Arms, FPS Airsoft), including CNC gearboxes and processor units like Jefftron Leviathan or GATE. The motor is a standard AEG with a long shaft.

The chamber is unconventional but, with precise adjustment of pressure, hop-up, and rubber, conforms to AEG standards. The TDC frame for the chamber from Airtech Studios is suitable. The springs are shortened, and you can use LCT QM series springs (the same springs used by LCT QM, MARUI NGRS, and VFC MP7 AEG).

The magazines are similar to traditional M4/16 but longer due to a functional bolt catch. This means that the weapon stops shooting after the last BB, and the bolt stays in the rear position like in GBB weapons (yes, it's simply awesome!). The length of the magazines corresponds to standard 5.56 magazines, and you can also purchase replicas of MAGPUL M3 magazines from PTS Syndicate specifically for the NGRS AR15 system.

With a higher initial investment in the weapon and parts, you get a PTW (Professional Training Weapon) of a new generation; the only competition is the GBLS DAS system (which is closer to 1800 € in price and uses a completely atypical system).

In the world, NGRS weapons are among the absolute top, and in Czech events, they are more like a unicorn (meaning very rare).
