Pre-cocking

```html
Pre-cocking is an advanced feature in airsoft electric guns (AEG) that increases their response speed. This technology is especially useful for players who need an instant shot after pulling the trigger, such as in CQB (Close Quarters Battle).
How pre-cocking works:
Mechanism:
When the gun is at rest, the piston is in its forward position. When pre-cocking is activated, the piston partially cocks back with each shot, so it is ready for an immediate subsequent shot.
Reduced reaction time:
When the trigger is pulled, the piston does not need to move from the forward position to the rear and then forward again, as it is already partially cocked. This mechanism allows for an instant shot, significantly reducing the gun's reaction time.
Advantages:
Faster response:
Since the piston is already partially cocked, the gun can fire more quickly after pulling the trigger.
Smoother shooting:
Reduced delay between individual shots improves shooting smoothness and increases efficiency in combat situations.
Usage:
This feature is commonly integrated into modern airsoft guns with advanced electronic control units (ECU) or processor units, such as JeffTron Leviathan, Gate Titan, and ASTER. The pre-cocking can often be adjusted according to the player's needs (0 - 99%), allowing customization based on individual preferences and play style.
Pre-cocking vs. standard AEG
In standard AEG guns, where the pre-cocking feature is not activated, the piston must first fully retract to the rear before it releases and fires the BB. This process causes a slight delay between pulling the trigger and firing, which can be disadvantageous in fast-paced situations. Pre-cocking thus represents a significant advantage for players who require quick response from their weapon.
