ÆTHER™ represents the most durable standard gearbox on the market, featured in the premium series PRIME™ by Specna Arms. The reinforced shell is capable of operating with the included Specna Arms M135 spring, and Specna Arms has secured a patent for it (European Patent No. 015044865-0001).

Premium Internal Components

The gearbox includes CNC steel gears with a 16:1 ratio, offering an optimal balance between rate of fire and durability, even when using the stronger Specna Arms M135 spring.
8mm J-Cage bearings—ball bearings on the motor and piston gears, while the sector gear uses a bushing for increased durability. This configuration was tested extensively to achieve the best balance between durability and rotation speed.
Reinforced polycarbonate piston with 14 teeth ensures an ideal AoE (Angle of Engagement) and prevents gearbox lock-up.
The piston is fitted with a CNC piston head with enlarged vents for optimal air direction into the CNC double-sealed cylinder head, housed in a stainless steel ribbed cylinder that aids in heat dissipation during full-auto firing.
The air is directed into the chamber through a CNC nozzle mounted on a reinforced tappet plate. A strong tappet plate spring and a sector gear delay cam ensure reliable feeding.
