The Killflash is a round metal grille that fits on the front of the collimator/optics. It prevents unwanted glare. In airsoft, however, it primarily serves to prevent a stray bullet from shattering the glass of the collimator. In other words, better a few hundreds for a killflash than a few thousands for a new collimator. Last but not least, the killflash looks more tacticool, as opposed to a piece of plexiglass on the barrel in front of the optic. Just saying.
