The new WildWood camouflage is a collaboration between Hyde Definition and Helikon and incorporates all the features that made PenCott camouflage systems famous. It uses PenCott's proven and widely used in-field digital color sampling technology and is based on the popular GreenZone camouflage. WildWood camouflage consists of small, medium and large non-linear fractal shapes with a predominance of brown shades and dried greens. The pattern is optimal for forested areas of central and eastern Europe, but also offers excellent camouflage wherever the vegetation is drier or more subdued. The combination of organic micro-patterns and complex boundary layers in mixed form further creates an illusion of depth that distorts the shape of the wearer, making the pattern effective at distance, mid-range and close range, regardless of whether the wearer is standing, kneeling or lying down.
